Anxiety is caused mainly due to worry, fear or nervousness. Some of the reasons of anxiety are justified. Anticipating or apprehending some problems in the future can lead to anxiety. Anxiety is a mental state in which one apprehends disaster and worries about something dear to him or her. It can be you health, money, family, work or school, anything. In today?s fast moving world where there is competition in every field people are always scared of the future and feel scared of losing the things which matter to them. The people suffering from anxiety are growing at an alarming rate. In the professional life, too much work pressure and the competition to reach higher can give rise to anxiety.
Tension in your personal life can give rise to anxiety. Even a child can suffer from anxiety due to the pressure in school and the continuous pressure of the parent for better results.

The people suffering from anxiety remain in a constant state of worry. They are under the fear of uncertainty. Anxiety is a mental strain which stats dominating the thought process of an individual.

Anxiety definitely interferes the daily functioning of an individual whether in schools, work places, personal life or social activities. Most of the time anxiety is caused due to worry about a loved one, about the success in business, about winning any competition or any examination. Some times anxiety is caused due to certain reasons, which are justified, but sometimes people suffer from anxiety without any cause. Sometimes we expect too much and when it doesn?t happen we suffer from anxiety. Too much anxiety can lead to anxiety disorder, which keeps a serious impact on our daily life.
Separation anxiety disorder is often found among the children. This occurs when a child become scared of the thought of being separated from the caring adults.

Sometimes various physical symptoms are associates with anxiety. People suffer from severe diseases of heart, lungs, nerves and gastrointestinal systems, the root cause of all of which is anxiety. The people who have anxiety often suffer from stomach upset, breathing trouble, diarrhea, or a tendency to get a heart attack or faint.

The people who suffer from anxiety are prone to get anxiety attacks. Anxiety attacks are also called panic attacks. Such attacks occur when one suffers from intense terror or fear. Anxiety attacks come suddenly. Symptoms of an anxiety attacks include, shortness of breath, chest pain or discomfort, palpitations or pounding heart, trembling or shaking, dizziness, nausea or stomach distress etc. The persons suffering from anxiety attacks, should be treated by trained health and mental health care professionals. For this purpose the 'cognitive therapy' and 'behavioral therapy' can be very effective. In case of cognitive therapy patients are made to learn to change the thought patters of them, which lead to anxiety. With the help of the Behavioral therapy patients learn to use the techniques to reduce undesired behavior, which are associated with anxiety disorders. The anti-anxiety medications also play a role in getting rid off anxiety disorders along with psychotherapy.
