Anxiety attacks are increasing at an alarming rate among the people. Anxiety Attacks are also known as panic attacks. Anxiety attacks occur as result of anxiety disorder. The anxiety attacks come very suddenly and can occur even during sleep. Anxiety attacks generally last for a brief period of time. Anxiety attacks are apprehension of terror, which sometimes reaches its peak, and it happens without any warning. During anxiety attacks a sudden feeling of fear comes in mind. The person getting anxiety attacks feels like having heart attack or a feeling of death. Sometimes, the person who is getting panic attack is unaware of the true situation around him and having a disproportionate thought which is creating too much tension and fear in him.

Anxiety is a mental state in which one apprehends disaster and worries about future. A state of intense terror or fear gives rise to anxiety attacks. Anticipating or apprehending disaster and worries about something in future can develop anxiety in a person. One can suffer from anxiety when someone becomes worried about some dear person, professional life, health, money, family, or school, anything.

In today?s competitive world the number of people suffering from anxiety is rapidly increasing. Too much work pressure and the competition in every sphere can give rise to anxiety.

Anxiety attacks can keep a serious impact on life and is the reason a several other diseases. These attacks usually last for a brief period, not more than 10 minutes. Some of the symptoms of anxiety attack last for longer period

During panic attacks the person has a sense that something horrible, beyond imagination is going to happen he/ she does not have the power to prevent it. The other reasons of anxiety attacks may be fear of losing control and doing something embarrassing or fear of dying. The anxiety attacks leaves a person with a very distressing condition.

The people who have a tendency of phobia, they experience immense fear, which may go to the level of anxiety attacks. This kind of anxiety attacks may occur due to, closed-in spaces, heights, air travel, fear of spiders, insects, open spaces, and social anxiety. In case of obsessive-compulsive disorder people suffer from disturbing and distressing thoughts. The people can suffer form obsessions or compulsion. The obsessions can include having items in a particular order or worries about germs or. People with compulsions avoid walking on cracks, or avoid touching doorknobs, repeatedly count items or activities, etc.
In case of separation anxiety the children gets scared of the thought of losing their caring adults. The separation anxiety usually develops when a child is left alone in bed and when he or she is going to school.
