Clorazepate-Oral, Tranxene T-Tab can be taken medically as directed by the doctor. The dosage of the medicine depends on the patient's medical condition as well as his response to the therapy. Try to use this medication exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Never increase the dose on your own. This will result in a drug taking habit. In case you are taking this drug for a longer period of time, do not stop taking it suddenly without your doctor's approval. Some conditions may become worse when the drug is stopped abruptly. Some people also face stomach/abdominal pain, persistent nausea, vomiting, yellowing eyes or skin, dark urine, persistent sore throat or fever when they take Clorazepate-Oral, Tranxene T-Tab. Serious allergic reaction which can occur due to this medicine include a rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness and troubled breathing.

Doctors advice patients to take precautions while they are having this medicine. You should inform the doctor about your medical history. These include a history of liver disease, kidney disease, lung/breathing problems (sleep apnea), drug or alcohol abuse or any allergies. This drug cause dizziness, drowsiness or blurred vision. Thus, you should be cautious during activities like driving or using machinery. You should also limit the intake of alcoholic beverages. This medication is not recommended during pregnancy as it may cause potential fetal harm. So you should inform the doctor in case you are pregnant. This drug also passes into breast milk which may affect the nursing infant. Thus, breast-feeding while using this medication is not recommended.
