There are certain cases when use of Valium is better to be avoided. In case the individuals suffer from glaucoma, hepatic and renal deficiencies, it is prudent to avoid using this medicine. It will not be fruitful to take Valium when you have acute intoxication with alcohol and narcotics, or you have allergy to any benzodiazepine drugs. Some of the other substitutes of this medicine include Valpam, Diapam and Novodipam, are widely used by the people all over the globe.
